Just imagine what people do on Valentine's Day. One example I can immediately think of is how consumerism has totally taken over our expression of love and affection. One example is the sort of popular practice of certain standardized rituals, which do not necessarily meet individual needs but everyone would be following them. One of the very commonly found problems is that, because people do not think about what they really need, they would just follow what most people would do. But then individuals also carry their own expectations with regard to relationships. So this is why in this course we want to be addressing some of those, right? We talk about some traps associated with dominant social scripts. Very often because they were following misguided scripts or notions of where things are going. Well I've worked with some people who kind of seem to get into maybe what could be considered unhealthy relationships or have kind of similar unhealthy patterns within their relationships, could those be considered other risks or traps that people get into? > Yeah, I hate to being saying this, a lot of people are actually disappointed in their relationships and many people actually do not get what they need in the relationships.
